🛫 HB HB Aviation & Tourism Institute Celebrates 8th Certificate Award Ceremony, Honoring 20 Entrepreneurs and 200 Successful Graduates
HB Aviation & Tourism Institute hosted its 8th HB Get-together & Award Ceremony on January 31, 2025 (Friday) at the Parjatan Corporation Building Auditorium, Agargaon, Dhaka. The event recognized 200 successful graduates from Dhaka and Sylhet who completed their Air Ticketing and Visa Processing courses in 2024. Additionally, 20 entrepreneurs who started their businesses after training at the institute were honoured with special awards across different categories.
To mark its 8th anniversary, the institute extended special honours to 8 orphaned children, providing them with donations, gifts, and a unique opportunity for training at the “Kids Space Camp”—a joint initiative of HB Aviation and Space Innovation Camp.
Delivering the keynote speech, Mr. Zaki S. Bari, Founder & Chairman of HB Aviation & Tourism Institute, highlighted the institute’s impact over the past seven years in training skilled professionals in the aviation, travel, and tourism sectors. He emphasized that HB Aviation not only provides training but also ensures job placements and business support for its graduates.
To empower students as entrepreneurs, HB Aviation has partnered with leading travel trade companies, enabling graduates to build direct business relationships and networks with industry leaders. The institute also offers over 20 free services to those starting their businesses after training. Mr Bari announced upcoming initiatives aimed at further enhancing opportunities for students to succeed in the tourism industry and contribute to Bangladesh’s economic growth.

• Mr. A.S.M. Zahid – Director General, Bangladesh Betar
• Mr. Ariful Hasan Apu – President, Space Innovation Camp
• Mr Fahim Hasan – Associate Director, Travelport Bangladesh
• Mr. Amir Haque – Head of Trade Bangladesh, Saudi Tourism Authority
A panel discussion on career opportunities in the tourism industry was led by:
• Mr. Kuntal Aowal – Assistant General Manager (Sales), Al Jazeera Airways
• Mr. Zobayer Hossain – Ground In-Charge, Saudia Airlines
• Mr. Bitul Ahmed – Representative, BDFair Bangladesh
Senior officials from various airlines, GDS companies, and top travel & tourism organizations also attended, commending HB Aviation’s youth-focused initiatives and industry partnerships.
The event concluded with a raffle draw, entertainment, and refreshments, offering prizes such as:

Established in 2018, HB Aviation & Tourism Institute has been a pioneer in Air Ticketing and Visa Processing training. With three branches in Dhaka, Chittagong, and Sylhet, the institute is approved by the Technical Education Board and ISO-certified. To date, it has trained over 1,000 students, many of whom are now working in Bangladesh and abroad
